Ive always thought it kind of weird that people today are expected to just have faith, just believe its all true, but when Jesus walked the earth, even the disciples, and followers close to him, demanded and required proof...numerous times too.
Why werent they required to 'just have faith and believe its true'?
I recall a time when a disciple or apostle asked Jesus to do some kind of miracle, and Jesus makes a comment about 'them having so little faith', but he went ahead and did the miracle for them anyway...??
The way it works is like this:
"What sort of proof would convince you?"
"Well, some miracles, raising the dead, turning water into wine.."
But, okay, you seem to be indicating the miracles can never be proven...therefore as far as I'm concerned, they don't exist.
It just makes it sound that people like you are desperate to believe in something. What is lacking in your life?
