I never in all my years, being surrounded by Christians, ever knew or met any Christian who ever said a single negative thing about the Jewish people.
it happens on CD forum regularly.
including by some of your online buddies.
that is not a reflection on you in any way. just a point of reference and letting you know it is a fact that it happens here on CD.
perhaps the posts were pulled before you saw them. since they do get reported.
also some of the posters have been banned altogether so they no longer post.
except when they then reappear under a different screen name. this too has happened.
the ones who have had their posts pulled for this very reason.....know who they are.

I grew up in a smallish town that was about 1/3 mainstream Protestant, 1/3 Roman Catholic, and 1/3 Jewish. I never heard anything against Jews either.
However, my Catholic best friend said I would go to Hell because I wasn't Catholic. That hurt but we remained friends until they sent her off to Catholic School and I never saw her again.
My Jewish friend told me that the Jews didn't kill Christ. I said, "Huh?" I didn't know what she was talking about.
And my Jewish friend's mother told her to stop being friends with me. We had been good friends for about a year so that really hurt. And I found out that her mother taught a ballet class only for Jewish kids. And the rest of us weren't supposed to know about it. Then I found out that the ballroom dancing class that I attended (reluctantly) after school didn't allow Jews! It was my dad who found out about that and he immediately pulled me out of there.
What a mess. All of this religious bigotry goes waaay back. I know more about the Catholic-Protestant thing and have always tried to find out about the Jewish thing. Why they supposedly don't like us or we supposedly don't like them. I will be here waiting to read the answers. Shalom and Peace.
That is a mess and very similar to the way I grew up. I always thought people behaved this way to feel part of an exclusive group, which I have made a point to never be a part of.

It is messed up.
One of my first jobs was working for a Jewish couple. I was a pastor’s kid. It never occurred to me to think badly of them for their religion and I certainly never had the impression they thought less of me. I’m not saying I don’t believe other people’s experiences. I’ve just never been around anyone like that.

None of my “buddies” have been banned so I have no idea of whom you might be speaking.

i am also pointing out that you have been around people like that here on CD, and you continue to be around people like that here on CD. because they are still posting in threads you participate in. Again, not a reflection in any way on you.
but if someone is not the target of the behavior, they are often oblivious to it going on by people in their very circle that they interact with regularly.
hate leads to violence.
it is that simple.
those who "justify" hate incite violence.
those who teach children to hate incite violence.
those who say "it's deserved" incite violence.
Can someone explain what the hatred for the Jews is based on?
Hatred is a human psychological weakness usually related to some very negative experience(s) or belief(s) about the object of the hatred. It would be normal to hate Hitler for the atrocities he committed but it is still a weakness in our psychology. Unfortunately, hate can be inculcated in very young people by their parents or other influential role models. This is the worst kind because it perpetuates hate without any underlying reason. While hatred can be explained, it is never acceptable. It should be addressed and a resolution sought through counseling or therapy.
There is some wording in the bible that creates confusion about who wanted Jesus to be executed. All of Jesus's followers and disciples, while he was alive, were Jewish. And of course he was also. But some Jews, the Pharisees, hated him because he hated them. (I am going by memory, not sure if all this is 100% accurate, just an approximation).
So when Pilate asked the Jews if they wanted Jesus killed, and they said yes, we don't know which Jews he was asking.
I think that might be one reason we Jews have been so hated. However, I have not felt hated since the 1960s. I think most Americans got over anti-semitism because of the Nazis and WW2. There is still some hatred, but probably not that much. Also, we have mostly assimilated and are part of the culture. Even my grandparents tried to be somewhat American, and my parents definitely did. They gave up all Jewish traditions and beliefs.

saying there are "reasons" for hate or hate is "deserved" are behaviors that justify hate, incite hate, justify violence and incite violence
making excuses for hate = excusing the hate
