Most spiritual truths can't be proved or disproved. I accept by faith alone they are true, you accept by faith alone they are not.
We are both in the same boat with no oars.
People in general, you who are thinking of joining Christianity I want you to dwell on what omega2xx has just said:

Omega is admitting that when you accept the dogmas put forth in Christianity you have to accept them on the word of whoever is presenting them to you. If you ask, "Can you give me some foundation for your beliefs" they are going to say, "This is a faith matter. You accept these things on faith alone" which of course is like a person trying to sell you the Brooklyn Bridge and when you ask for a deed before handing over your money, he says, "You have to accept on faith that I own this bridge and that I have the right to sell it to you."
You're free to accept whatever foolish beliefs a person throws your way that you want, but if you heed my advice, "RUN! DON'T WALK AWAY FROM SUCH AN OFFER!"
Indeed. Not long since, he was arguing that the disciples are validated - by the Bible. The ultimate in circular argument. We can trust what the Bible tells us because the Bible tells us.
He also made the point that we'd have to show that the Bible is not to be relied upon before we decide not to rely on it.
Anyone who had been around for the last dew months will have seen plenty of good reasons not to rely on it.
As usual you just pontificate and offer nothing to support your very biased OPINION. I go to a Trinity church, what do we not teach that Jesus actually taught? I predict you will not answer this question.
As usual, you jut pontificate but offer no evidence to support your very biased and ignorant opinion.
Be specific. What do you share what Jesus actually taught that I reject? Since you have no idea how I believe what Jesus taught, your comment is absurd.
Again, I predict you will not answer this post.
Matthew 6:33--Therefore, keep on seeking-FIRST- the kingdom and his ( YHVH(Jehovah) righteousness and all these other things will be added( sustenance, covering, spirituality)
Matthew 5:5- The meek will inherit the earth= great multitude.( the little flock( Luke 12:32) are promised heaven-Rev 14:3= 144,000)
The Lords prayer--Hallowed be thy(Father name( YHVH)--
At John 20:17, and Revelation 3:12 assures all he has a God like us, his Father. As does Paul-1Cor 8:6, 2 Cor 1:3, 1Cor 15:24-28) Peter at,1 Pet 1:3-- John at Rev 1:6, No trinity is taught. Only the Fathers will gets done( John 5:30)
At John 17:1-6,26,Jesus teaches-The one who sent him( Father-John 5:30) is THE ONLY TRUE GOD--verse 6= YHVH, 26= YHVH
Jesus warned the world they would not know him on account of his name( John 15:20-21)
We all must choose who we believe. Because those teachings above back the JW teachers 100%, and those teachings are fact, in every translation on earth.

yes. and for the more logical minded, i would say if you are thinking of joining Christians ... don't buy into dude dieing and rising for our sins.
that base line is a house built on sand.
If I can get you to believe that I can get you to do anything I want.
Th apostles are mentioned in the Bible by 9 different people. That is more evidence than you have that they did not exist. Where is your evidence that the Bible is a book of fiction? Another OPINION for which you have no support. Your lack of evidence us pathetic. Why should anyone believe anything you say?
...
You see, here's the problem. In another thread just hours ago, another christian poster was arguing that atheists are too hung up on the bible being literal. And here you are saying it's literal.
You can't have it both ways. You guys need to decide one way or the other.

Yes, though people are individuals and there are numerous variations of different belief systems one should always expect all theist to be in agreeance. And theist should understand if one theist believes in something they all do. They should also understand this only applicable to their worldview.
