Moderator cut: edited

Whenever I have looked for references to dinosaurs in the bible, I'm always directed to a few lines in Job as proof.

Pretty weak, in my opinion. Really weak, in fact.

Or better, read the true story written in the earth itself. No global flood, and there were no arks around 65 million years ago (or 4000 years ago for that matter).

Actually, archaeology does sustain the belief that a global flood occurred after the Ice Age.

The reason is that dinosaurs no longer existed when the flood happened.

Coastal flooding, yes. Global continental submersion resulting in the destruction of all life, no.

And:

A) There was no ark.
B) The last Ice Age ended around 10,000 years before the story of Utnapishtum (the "Noah" in the original flood story the Biblical version was based off of)

There are layers where no fossilized remains can be found--that would indicate an absence of life.

As far as your point B, isn't that what I said? Dinosaurs did not exist when the flood happened.

For a particular area, perhaps (and of course, fossilization is a rare event). Point is, there has never been a complete extermination of all life on the entire planet whether by flood, asteroid or other calamity.

Yes, just clarifying that it was A "flood".. not THE flood (mythical Biblical flood)

Assuming Noah to have been real, and the story true...would you like to share a smallish boat with two T-Rex????

Dinosaurs were extinct before mankind inhabited the Earth. That is why there were no dinosaurs on the ark. Yes, I believe in God, the ark, and the existence of dinosaurs. There is no reason one can't believe in all three. People just keep trying to explain everything. Why? You have to have faith to believe in God. If you don't have faith, how can you believe in other things you can't see, like truth, justice, and love? I don't know why people don't just relax. Don't stress about everything on the face of the Earth. Who cares that dinosaurs weren't on the ark? It doesn't prove or disprove anything.
