I like to volunteer tutor 8th grade kids -- specifically in math. My personal view is 8th grade is about the time kids either make a left turn and say "I hate math" or they make a right turn and say "Math isn't so bad and solving problems is kind of fun." My hope is to help them make a right turn.

I've been retired for 8 years - forced because of health.

I still dream about going to work. But I have to say that retirement is fantastic!

I worked 25 years in Civil Service, and boosted my pension by working overtime until it matched my regular yearly base earnings. Now, I am able to maintain the same lifestyle as my working years, without the work.
