BDL: Truly I wish you the best. You had a very long career in nursing and the awful night shift as well. Hard hard work. I bet they will really miss you and are wishing they could ask you to come back. A career well done. Now is time for you to enjoy all your days. Best wishes !
Congratulations on a well deserved achievement. I hope you spend the next couple of decades in fine health and living life to the fullest.
How many dogs will be moving with you? How many old dogs will you adopt now that your time is all your own?
I got as high as 6 at one point (most of them senior couch potatoes) but also had 2 to 4 fosters most of the time. Some days seemed to consist of little more than feeding and going on poop patrol. As I seem to be hurling very fast toward 70 I'm down to just 3 with no fosters but these three have had exceptionally high medical expenses so there won't be any new additions in the near term.
ps: do not get a goat, no matter how cute it might be.
That is terrific; I wish you all the best. My 'DONE' day is June 12, 2018 and I can hardly wait. Whoop!
