A guy who would respect me. That was surprisingly difficult as many men like to feel like they are the authority on everything so you are supposed to look up to them. Which would leave them looking down on you. Even if you are smarter or more successful than them. Of course they would never admit that.
So I would be very careful in dating as an older wiser woman to look out for the ego and casually ask questions that would reveal that issue. I don't think that character flaw ever changes.

Foul language is out -- having the imagination to express yourself without heavy profanity is something I admire. I like the Carhartt's and workboots look. I can tolerate some extra weight, as long as a man's not obese. Intelligent and real-world capable -- a man that can hunt and garden and build stuff, and willing to teach me the same skills. Farmer/rancher type.
This is not about senior men, but men in general. Why should I be restricted to only senior men?
Here are my choices....
Prince Harry! He is adorable. However, he is taken, and I am married, but not dead.
For pure s@x appeal, these are my choices:
uh........
uh........
Justin Trudeau, tops!
Brad Pitt
John Meecham
The young Sean Connery
The young Alec Baldwin
Pierce Brosnan
Daniel Craig
Anyone else playing James Bond
The young OJ Simpson
The young Bruce Springsteen
Tom Cruise
Clark Gable in Gone with the Wind
Ronald Regan was not too shabby in his day, Arnold S, too!
Clint Eastwood at any age - I saw him in person up close, when he was old, and was still hot!
Scott Erickson of the Baltimore Orioles - Ay Chi Mama
Dwayne Johnson
Mark Harmon
John F Kennedy, Jr - may he rest in peace
Hugh Jackman
David Beckham
I'm with you. My loss is still pretty fresh but at 63 most men in my age range would be risky health wise. That risk would only increase as we got older. So no. I'll just maintain my widow status and not become a caregiver again. I will see what life is like as a single older woman.
Is that your photo posted
I've got mine posted also.
I'm 65. Come to TX and maybe I can change your mind about that.
Be still my heart. I eat pizza with a knife and fork, with salad on the side, and so do many of the hot guys in Europe.
It certainly beats cheeseburgers in bed.
I'm from New Jersey. We don't eat pizza with utensils. You pick it up, fold it lengthwise with one hand, let some of the grease roll off the point, and stick it in your mouth.
i have this outrageous dream i could find me 1.) a good volunteer fireman ( so don't pick on me, i figure anyone who will put his life on the line for his community has a good heart... and anyway, those crazy overalls, boots and suspenders are way adorably hot hot hot) .................... 2.) has good hygiene, 3.) has a good sense of humor, 4.) should have a library card, use it often. oh,.......................... and if he insisted on marriage (huh? why? been there, done that!!!!) signing a pre-nup wouldn't hurt either. LOL............................ absolutely nothing else matters
Excellent ! I totally agree and would add that he loved dogs and could dance well. And... I might add, since both of my now-dead ex-husbands said, at night, when there was a noise outside "You're the cop! YOU go and check it out." Gads, they weren't both there in bed at the same time.... oh! you get what I mean.
