No more of the silly required, annual training force-fed by my former Fortune 10 employer; diversity and inclusion plus all the other corporate nonsense. I'm sure it has only gotten worse in the last year.
No one got forced into retirement cause for years they caregivered for MOM?MOI.I got physically bad,I hadda go DUMP the Mom with dementia, and say,"you take her,I did for many years."---no one else forced into parent lucky people. Only you upscale retirees missed out of caregiving..
GOT NEWS FOR YOU, the federal govt. Refuses to just take them;the county and state make the kids pay big bucks to take care of them,or else the govt. TAKES YOUR MONEY CAUSE YOU HAVE TO PAY THE GOVT.EVERYTHING my mom owned, too, would be taken from her by the govt. So she could go in a rest home. Both my sister and I cared for her (separately, I did it for years then my sister took over.)Also, we knew enough about rest homes, dying in one is BAD. Personally, I would not want to die But I got "caregiver burnout"got very physically disabled from it. This happe ns a LOT.
Ha! Got that beat! Between my wife and I, we get 5 separate "paychecks" paid on 4 separate days throughout the month. Starting in January 2022, it will be 6 direct deposits (3 for each of us) paid on 5 separate days each month. At least until January 2032.
Wife and I get two paydays a month.
Both born towards the end of the month we receive our social security on the fourth Wednesday. On the first of the month she gets her state pension and I receive my VA disability check.
