Total of 10 mailing addresses.

One of those was a PO box that covered 5 different residences, so I could say 15?

We just this morning began updating to our new address we are in process of moving to.

I'm 60 next month.

Drop the first 3 addressess to one of you want, they were baby addresses before the address at which I was raised (and my father still lives in)

It's not as easy as it used to be to change or forward all your mail to new addresses.

I get "security and safety", but why is it getting so hard to get legitimate things done by the legitimate people who are doing legitimate things? Wouldn't all that be legitimate?

Thanks for this stroll down amnesia river.

Most of my moves were one studio apartment to another (rentals). I did hire people but still not such a big deal. Threw out a lot of stuff each time.

About 15. I moved around a lot as a kid, so once I got my first house, I wanted to stay put. Only 2 moves after that. I despise moving. Hate hate hate it.

Just as an add-on to this topic, I was sitting on the bench outside my apartment building yesterday talking with my 90 year old widowed neighbor Erika. She is very sharp and has a great memory. Erika has lived here in Chemnitz her entire life, which included childhood in Nazi Germany and during WW2, including numerous bombings of city. Later after the war along came 45 years of communism.

My neighbor moved into her present 2 bedroom, 1 bath walk-up apartment on the second level in 1961 at the age of 28. It was a brand new apartment building when she moved in with her husband and son, 62 years ago. That's a long time at one address, especially for an apartment! There is an elderly couple in another apartment in our building that has also lived in their same apartment for 62 years!

23. I had to think about it. The moves slowed down a LOT after buying my first house. I was tired of moving.

Way back on the first page of this thread I said I'd had 30 addresses, but I realized I forgot to count any before the age of 5. I can remember, or have heard about, 4 more up to age 5, so I have to amend my count to 34. All of my last 3 were for 10 years or more each.
