Do you think it makes sense Mark? For them to wait 3 weeks to start seeking the public's help? For an assault?
simple assault is newsworthy but no big deal. A look at Providence Journals from the late 1800's will show reports a month late of men who were rolled. Yes, communication is better now but that type of crime has never needed to be reported in real time. Like Phil said, outside a small circle of friends no one cares.
It may have been reported 3 weeks ago. But I didn't see it.
Are our ace crime reporters slipping? And, such an important item. Inquiring minds here want to know; especially if it bleeds with a side of sex. Newcomers NEED to know, lest they wander into the Foxy Lady by some horrible mistake. LOL

Apparently you find this amusing. From what I understand (from the morning news), the victim is suffering from "a very serious head injury".
Closest was Cadillac Lounge, but they were closed and the person who owns it was/is rehabbing an old UER Trolley which I got to see.
How long ago? I have been wondering how that project is going.
My only time in a strip club (also closed) was also transit related. It was an ASCE tour of the 63rd Street subway tunnel in New York, and the meeting place was "Club 40-40" on Northern Boulevard. I was also in the same car club as Dick Shappy a couple of decades ago.

I have to say at least 8 years ago. I really don't know if he ever finished it.
