Right, and a lot of them aren't being shown the full extent of what is happening to this day.
My parents (who get their news from MSNBC - I was raised by Democrats) didn't even know how bad the riots were. MSNBC didn't even show any of the beatdowns, and now they've gone back to all COVID all the time, despite the fact that the violence is still happening.

The fact is, I was a Democrat well after leaving the nest, I'm in my early 40s and didn't "convert" until the Demoratic Party lost their minds.
I didn't change. The Party now advocates for things they never would have dreamed of even five years ago.
It does happen, throughout History, when Parties change shape despite maintaining labels. The last time was the 1960s, and here we are again.

I also went too soft on the Dems in an earlier post.
When you create autonomous zones for looting and murder, when you purposely keep the Police out of certain neighborhoods where the looting is happening, when you let the mob burn down a Police Precinct.....
That is not just staying silent, that is complicity, pure and simple.

You see, I have absolutely no interest in debating you. None. You won't get a tiresome single spaced cut/paste duel of nonsense from me. But, I will feel free to comment on any post here - as I see fit.
In case you didn't read past the headline of the article, the DNC or the tweet didn't say anything about white supremacy. The Guardian article linked in the tweet quoted a Native American who said it is a symbol of white supremacy. It also goes on to point out that Mount Rushmore's sculptor was a member of the KKK who stopped work on the Stone Mountain Confederate Memorial because Mount Rushmore paid more.
Of course I read it all. And the DNC obviously thought it looked bad, otherwise, why delete it?
The proof is in the pudding, as it were.
The Democratic Party has racist roots (well known). Let's dismantle that while we're at it.
