At the same time, Comcast is closing the call center in Natomas - 300 more jobs. Sign of the times.

At least the Campbell's "jobs" aren't going overseas. My guess is the plants in the other locations are more automated and won't require as many people to produce the same amount of soup.

$20 says the Comcast jobs end up India.

Huge bummer to see a bunch of solid, blue collar jobs in S. Sac disappear like that.

I'll be surprised if any other company wants to come in and utilize the facilities since the machines are so outdated. It's a shame Campbell's didn't do more to keep their plant up-to-date. I guess shareholder dividends took precedence.

Comcast says California isn't business friendly. That's why they're closing three of their call centers.

Within a week, California is losing 1,000 more jobs. And some are saying there's been improvement in the economy? Some place else, apparently.

First Carls Jr./Hardees, now Comcast and Campbells...what's with the letter "c" ???

Seriously though, this should be a wake call to the people of California. It's time for a change of guard in Sacramento.

Watching the news now. Just heard that Waste Connections is leaving the state, citing the same reason as Comcast - not business friendly.

VSP is still considering whether it's going to leave. I thought their reasons had to do with the effect the Affordable Health Care Act, though.

This is not good news for California.
