I went yesterday afternoon at about 2:30 and there was no wait time. There were a lot of people but they have a lot of machines and it was moving along nicely. The TV news reported that about 150,000 had already voted b/c they expect a large turnout on election day. So go early! Can't remember the hours but they are open on Saturdays as well.

I voted last week and the wait time was about 20 mins or so, but I think that's just because it was the first few days. By now, it has calmed down, I'm sure.

This election is having a effect on quite a few people this year. People who haven't voted in years are doing so (like me) and many first time voters too!!!

Way to go!!!

Sorry, yes, I went to the county bldg.

The only thing I was not happy about was that the sign for early voting pointed to the south end of the bldg. After I walked down there, using my 4-wheel walker, I had to navigate through hallways to end up back at the north end of the bldg (where the handicapped parking is). There was a perfectly good door at the north end, which I went out to get to my car. I suppose they direct people that way in case there are long lines, they will be in the hallways and not outside.

I voted last night in Taylorsville. There were only 11 people in front of me in line and it took only 10 minutes. I'm glad I voted early.

I voted today about 9:45, and had to wait about 25 min.
Yesterday, my H voted at the same location, same time of day, waited less than 5.

Yay for the turn out so far!

Early voting? Nah. Since this will be the first election I'm voting in, I want to vote the final day of the election just to get the feel. Two hour lines? Oh well. What counts is that I'm finally eligible to vote.

Yeah but possibly standing outside in 40 degree weather for two hours doesn't sound all that appealing. To each his own.
