We are happy in San Antonio. It is nice that I get to travel to other states and countries, but I am always happy to come home. It may not be everyone's cup of tea, but this city has a lot of positive attributes to it and for the most part it is one of the better places to live in the US...

I'd move back to St. Louis. I grew up in a tiny little central Illinois town, and St. Louis was "our" city. My mom lives in Springfield, IL but that's too small for me these days. So St. Louis it would be. I loved it when I lived there before.

I wouldn't mind moving back one little bit (current spring snowpocalpyse notwithstanding), but I'll never get my native Texan husband outta here (puro Valle he is!).

Alllll that said, I do like San Antonio a whole lot.

I'm only three hours from my grandsons here, so I am unlikely to move, but if I could, I would go back to Traverse City Michigan or Greenville, SC. I miss greenery and water! (And even snow)

First off, we're very happy in San Antonio, so no short term plans to bail. But longer term, looking at having a place back in my home stomping grounds of Happy Valley, PA - my wife (who's from SA) loves it there. My dream place would to have a place somewhere on the Costa del Sol in Spain (any Navy/Marines know around where I'm talking about).
