Most people on an anonymous message board are probably reluctant to admit where they work. You might have a better shot at getting answers to questions about USAA if you just ask your questions.

There is another site called 'indeed' that has a forum section. In there, you will find a thread for USAA and all your questions will be answered.

There are many, many positions there that are not call center. I think the people who do not like the USAA call center probably would not like many others (call centers), either.

I also worked there for over five years and have many friends that have worked there and still do, and we all hated it. Benefits are great, but the environment and jobs are just terrible... And most of the jobs there are call center. And I've worked at other call centers and they are not as intolerable as it was there. It has a great reputation for the bonuses and benefits so those that haven't worked there think it's great, but many that do work there do not enjoy it.

so they work there to get paid and get benefits, yet they don't enjoy the job that they're doing. Yep I guess that makes sense.

I have know lots of folks that have worked for USAA over the years...and to be honest, we have USAA insurance and LOVE them. My take from friends that have worked there is you LOVE or HATE it as an employer....not much middle of the road at all. As a customer, LOVE it!
