Pretty damn embarrassing, mayor Cooper should know that this is going to scare off developers. On the other hand hopefully they might start looking further along Austin highway.

I say good for Alamo Heights city council. They realized what kind of problems they would be incurring with too much development too fast resulting in traffic problems and obtrusive buildings and decided too scale it to fit or decline. The city of San Antonio should be as wise rather that be in build build build mode no matter what the outcome as long as the outcome means more people and a higher tax base. They never seem to be able to quench their thirst for more tax payer dollars to play with. They have made the far north side, the far NW side, and the far NE side almost UN-navigable most of the time and now they are doing the same thing to the southeast side by taking the already poorly designed intersection of IH37 & SE Military and putting yet another apartment complex in the area. This one right in the NE quadrant of that intersection. This after the outcry from the area residences fell on deaf city council ears. Finally some semblance of sanity from city leaders. Just not our city leaders.
