and why its is not talked about much the local paper SA Express News has a great section detailing the southside. If you can get your hands on it to read the section it will explain a lot.

Neddy, no crickets chirping here.

I read the Express-News series "The Southern Edge" both online and in the paper. I finished it with a saddness for the "Southern Edge" of the city because it's never fun losing your history and in such a fast manner. But also happiness at the fact that the balance of power is finally going to evenout between the northside and the southside. I also am extremely joy filled with what will eventually be there, urban walkable neighborhoods unlike anything seen before.

Here's a thread about City South:

City South - San Antonio's Premier Future Location.

I could care less if the crickets are chirping I just thought someone who might read the board be out there and wonder why we don't talk about it as much as other areas of town.

Expect things down there to start seriously booming in the very near future, like before 2007. I expect there will be much more mention of the southside on the boards come December.
