Fuddruckers Restructures - Affected Restaurants (http://fuddruckersrestructures.com/affected-restaurants/ - broken link)
Headquarters is here in SA. I'd figure if Fudd's needed to get smaller and more efficient quickly, they'd keep the local stores and close the stores farthest away.

Fuds is part of Magic Brands and are headquartered in Austin.

The Ch 11 is part of a sale restructure.

"AUSTIN, Texas – April 21, 2010 – Magic Brands, LLC, parent of the Fuddruckers and Koo Koo Roo restaurant brands, announced today that it has signed an Asset Purchase Agreement with Tavistock Group to sell substantially all of its assets in a $40-million going concern transaction.
As required under the purchase agreement and to facilitate the sale, Magic Brands, LLC and certain of its affiliates have voluntarily filed petitions under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. None of the 135 franchisee-owned Fuddruckers restaurants are included in the filing."

I stand corrected. The chain was founded here in SA.

I wish the side of town would get a decent non chain restaurant. Some suggestions if Bayseas or Mr and Mrs. G, Broadway Bistro, or even Papadeaux they would make a killing
