Blanco BBQ Market, opening "soon" near the Blanco Road entrance to Hardberger Park.

I saw remodeling work happening in and on the building today. I'll bet it doesn't open for at least 2 months.

OMG...the place where nothing seems to last even a year? Not sure these are all, but I recall:
Argentine Steakhouse
Matisse-classy seafood/beautiful saltwater aquariums
El Callejon- Tex-mex
Never went when it was the next tex-mex (Machuca?) or the Italian place that very briefly followed. The building is very nice, beautiful scenic location, etc but everything fails here.

It was originally the Hunter's Inn restaurant that lasted a number of years, but I think it closed when the owner passed away in the mid-90's. They had an excellent Chateaubriand!

Not sure if this has been posted but Chik-fil-a and Wingstop are both going in at McCreless Market. Wingstop looks like it'll open soon.

Your post reminded me of Wolfe's Inn and it's Chateaubriand....was the cat's meow on the northside when we moved here. Drive by it's location almost every day...now it's one of those title loan places-sad.
