They are currently building a P.Terry's in Cibolo, and a Whataburger is also going in near the CVS in Cibolo. I may try the P.Terry's they are from Austin, have a website and a limited menu. Need to try the new Jersey Mike's in Cibolo. My sister says they are okay, but she lives in New York, so there are plenty of places to go for those kinds of subs.

P Terry's is going onto Broadway between Pearl and Alamo Heights.

Not sure if that's exciting or depressing.

With Jim's, the land is worth more than what the location is bringing in.

Their time has come and gone for there to be as many as there are. 13 is ridiculous.

5 would keep that family afloat. They still have MTM and Frontier Burger.

I love Jim's Restaurants as they offer many delicious items and meals one cannot get anywhere else in my city. I miss this type of restaurant. I like "old school" food and I don't like that my main choices are Mexican, ethnic and the same ole, same ole chain restaurants. I like variety and Jim's provides that for me.

That being said, they have become run down and shabby and dirty. They need to have some money invested in them to clean them up and market them to all the newcomers who want something besides the above described stale restaurants.

Jim's WAS good... And now it's crap.

They need to close if they can't put money back into the chain.

It's the people running the chain. Maybe they need someone to buy it, or the family to take some of their money and fix them up.

This isn't a bad idea. Buy the name, fire management, improve the product.

The family hasn't really put anything back into the business. It shows.
