Is the one on Stassney and Menchaca (I think) still there? I feel a road trip coming up soon.

It was in Loehman’s village in the 80’s early 90’s.

Never had Conan's Pizza. Well, the new Slim Chickens is open in Schertz. Someone here at work tried to go there yesterday at lunch time, but said traffic was around the building.

We recently tried the new Kerbey Lane Cafe location in town at I-10 and 1604. Doesn't have the same atmosphere ae the original location in Austin, however the service and food were both fantastic. We started with the Kerbey Lane Queso which has quacamole, white chili con queso, and pico de gallo. Lives up to the hype. Wife had the Cobb salad with grilled chicken which came with a ton of bacon, boiled eggs, bleu cheese crumbles, grape tomatoes, red onion, and spring mix greens. I had the Kerbey Lane breakfast. 2 half size pancakes, Penderson Farms bacon and sausage patty, 2 over easy eggs, and seasonal fruit. Wow, if those were half sized pancakes, I don't think I could manage a single full size. The service was fantastic, food came out quick, and our server, Donny, was quick with recommendations, was super friendly, had some pretty good jokes, and genuinely seemed to really enjoy what he was doing. We had a blast, and enjoyed the food.

Has anyone been down Ritterman lately? Oct.1 was my mom's birthday, so i drove down Saturday to take her birthday flowers at Fort Sam Cemetery. Anyhow, Next to Starbucks at Ritterman and Harry Wuzbach , was a Church's Chicken. Well that is gone. Saw a sign for some place called Honey 1 Chicken. Now it is not open yet, and if I go down there again, will take better note of the sign. But I swear it's going to be another chicken place.

The only one worth its salt is the original in SF.

The rest were just bland copies. It's no big loss for San Antonio.
