Tomatillo's moving from Broadway to 1604 and 281. Hopefully the food improves.

On Kitty hawk Road, just past 1604 is on your left a new Quick Trip. They are building next to it another car wash, which we need like a hole in the head. Next to the car wash they are building is Dutch Brothers. Don't think it's open yet. It is a drive through coffee place like Starbucks and On the Grind(Schertz, New Braunfels,Universal City). The company is from Grant's Pass,Oregon. They are also building one on Ritterman Road, right next to Popeye's ,where the old Sonic Drive In used to be.

Anyone know what’s going in front of Academy at 1604/Bandera? Also in the same area, the small building in front of the Office Depot?

I drove east on Babcock while in town to pick something up and noticed a Hometown burger where sonic used to be at Babcock and Prue. Is that new? Or have I just not driven in that direction? (I’m usually head to Valero, La cantera or doing something downtown so I very well could have missed it).

It's been there about a year or so. Not tried it myself, but I hear it's pretty good.

There is one on Fredericksburg rd not far from the Art Deco HEB that is a bit over year old...maybe two.

If the Babock location is anything like the Fredericksburg location, then the food won't be good in my opinion.

I stopped going to P. Terry's after a few visits because 1) they never get my order right if I dare to customize my burger and 2) they never cook the burger all the way through. I came for a burger, not steak tartare.

Oh what a bummer. I haven't had a bad burger from there. I would recommend sharing that with the corporate folks. They may be off running the show on their own down here instead of having the quality experience we get up here since it's Austin based. I haven't been to the SA one. I'll have to try and see the difference.
