I think most people wouldnt want to leave all the friends they have made during their 9th 10th and 11th grade years, and go to a school during your senior year not knowing anyone.

I suppose. I didn't think of it in those terms. I looked forward to making new friends, while keeping my old ones.

Esparza ES 83-89
Sul Ross MS 89-92
Holmes HS 92-96

I don't remember all of my teachers but the ones I remember are Ms. Griffith (4th grade) and Ms. May (6th grade English). Ms. Griffith was old and crotchety and should never have been teaching elementary school students. Ms. May was just plain mean. She's now an assistant principal at a NISD middle school.

My all time favorites were at Sul Ross--Mrs. Berger (7th grade English), Ms. Herold (7th grade Math) and Mr. Baldwin (counselor at Holmes). Ms. Herold is still teaching at Sul Ross and Mrs. Berger is now the principal at the new Brandeis HS.
