Three day weekends are the bizam! Thank you, past presidents, for being born and/or dying in February. Otherwise I'd be going until May MAY!! without a 3 banger. No can do. But......Spring Break is almost here!!! Come on, sunshine!!

Maggots was old when I went there to buy fresh made sandwiches...30 years ago. That place is a little grocery store. to call it a meat markt is a stretch.

As i remember the had sandwich meats and cheese for the slicing, cant rememberif the had fresh beef and chicken.

I drove past about a month ago, i guess ill go by to see if they still have those fresh made sammies.

I saw an interview with the family on KABB last night and the story gets even worse. Her husband was completely dependent on her after he suffered a stroke several years ago. I don't know how you can punish the drunk, but they need to come up with something that will wake these idiots up. I'm sure all the drunk is worried about is facing a slap on the wrist and an insurance increase. They never learn.
Oh...that is even sadder. I agree about drunk driving. I wish these judges would really lay the hammer on some of them to make an example. Having to young adult children (in their twenties), I'm impressed with how they take turns being designated drivers....so some are definitely paying attention. It seems the majority of these drunk drivers are beyond that age group, however.

Yeah RD....it was hiding because I didn't even click on it. Sometimes I do a CD drive by to come back and read more later...sometimes there just is no explanation...

That would be kinda hard to live with. Maybe they pronounce it in French....words that do not end with an "e" make the last consonant silent (disregard the "s") Mah-GO's.... I know...we're too provencial here....blah blah.

This made me think of several names that I would NOT give up my maiden name for......like Raper, Roach ...don't have time to list them....some are just gross....some are funny. (and no offense to anyone who has these names...if you love someone enough you accept the good and the bad, right? )

Good thing for both of you. Your Doll's first name wasn't Ken, was it?

Nope. David.

And I never played with Barbie's. I was not (and still am not) a girly-girl. I was too busy climbing trees and riding bikes. Besides, I could never get the stupid clothes on those dolls. Frustrated me to no end and so I would play with the boys instead. Kick the Can, Dog-Pile (which is the new PC term for what we REALLY played), and kickball was way more fun. And boys were, too. No bitter in-fighting, back-stabbing, gossiping......very easy to play with.

Worst one I've known so far was Swallows. It was a female and she joined the Navy... No joke.

If you don't get it, look up the E-3 rank for a person in the Navy.
