LOL this is way too long range for any kind of accuracy.

Ryne, yes I think we'll have some rain within the next 30 days at some point.

winst0n, more than likely it will be hot on July 25th. I can't say with any kind of certainty what the temps or weather will be on that date, but keep checking into this tread as we inch closer.

I've been to a concert at the Verizon in July. From that experience, I can offer two pieces of advice:

If you're in lawn seats, don't be among the first to arrive. Gates open during the hottest part of the day and there's no shade on the lawn.

Bring plenty of cash as there are many concession stands and vendors selling ice cold drinks. No matter where you're sitting, you'll appreciate having multiple cold drinks!

I saw Toby Keith at the Verizon in either July or August--there's not much diff temp wise--at least when it's 100 degrees average in one month and 103 degrees average in the next, you could have fooled me--and it was hot yet very bearable where we were seated. We weren't on the lawn, which I would imagine would be very hot, but we were in the covered section. Beer is outrageously expensive--well, all liquids are, so take your American Express.

TK puts on a great live show, BTW--I'm jealous about Journey!! I'd love to see that show!

the county commissioners voted to "ban" aerial fireworks today, or at least that's what I think I heard on the 12:00 KSAT news.

County Bans Some Aerial Fireworks - San Antonio News Story - KSAT San Antonio (http://www.ksat.com/news/16482149/detail.html - broken link)

not sure what exactly that means, but I guarantee you they'll still sell them and I'll still have to deal with them all night..
