Highly recommend:

1. Sukhothai, 258 Sunset Avenue (amazing customer service and great food. 4* on yelp; restaurants.com has a gift certificate for them if anyone is ever in the area)
2. Bangkokian, 1500 Oliver Road (not as good as the above, but still yummy)

ANYWAY, all cooked by mexican
+1

Fairfield is nowhere near the worst.

Well the city itself is a mess. I like Marine World. I know some areas are very very violent. San Leandro doesn't really have a violent area. Lots of cities have good/bad areas. Vallejo is lower middle class over all but has a decent newspaper. .

You have Mare Island that could make a great location for a Great Mall, Casinos or Industrial companies, etc, etc, etc..Vallejo has the greatest potential in the Bay Area as far as Real estate in my opinion.....JUST NEED SOMEONE TO SAY POSITIVE THINGS ABOUT IT !! positive ???? YES POSITIVE !!
Dont know why its even in the top 10...whoever pick Vallejo doesn't live in Vallejo, bias against Vallejo or want to give Vallejo a BAD NAME...

i'm sorry, but you are the only person i have ever come across in the whole entire world to say this. vallejo is the dustiest city in the bay area right after richmond... i've spent some time out there, and most of what i seen is run down and flat out depressing... and lets not mention how many people i know who were raised out there who couldn't wait to leave.

It's not that Hayward is particularly unsafe, it's just that it's really run down and slummy looking unless you're way up in the hills.
