There's been a campaign in the media to describe any area with any degree of White people as racist. Even though Whites are a small minority of the region's youth population.

https://www.eastbaytimes.com/2019/08...-surprise-you/

"Acalanes Union High School District is a predominantly white, affluent suburban district in Contra Costa County. The cities of Lafayette, Moraga and Orinda have a household median income of $139,018 to $186,075, according to 2017 U.S. Census statistics. Of the 5,662 students enrolled in 2017-18, 64.9 percent were white, 13.7 percent Asian, 9.9 percent Hispanic or Latino, and 1.7 percent were African-American."

64% White is roughly the National average.

This is a similar case out of NYC.

Why are a few people on this site absolutely fixated on race?

Excuse Me.. Easterner here...why wouldn't you want a bunch of Indians and East Asian in your town? Isn't that typically (right or wrong) seen as a good thing? Is it different out west? What are the negative connotations of Indians and Asians? Never heard this sentiment back east..

Because Looney Tune "liberals" feel reflexively compelled to racialize every situation.

Actually the OP who has racialized this issue, is definitely not considered a liberal. I'd concur with the other description, though.
