I'm all for consequences for saying stupid stuff, but usually the consequences don't send you to the hospital.
A lot of my friends on Facebook post about political views I disagree with. You know what I do? I keep scrolling or just log out. I've only ever defriended a person for verbally attacking my character in response to political disagreement.
