Is like living in Washington state. Every day rain. Or maybe more like India in monsoon season.

I love the fact that it is sunny every day - too - it does rain in the afternoon but usually does not last long - its like being in the tropics - I like the fact that the rain cools off the area - Washington state is dreary day after day and all day - in Florida it rains hard and then stops quickly

It doesn't rain everywhere, everyday. We welcome the rain (except for the days-long tropical storm rains). Trust me, come February when it hasn't rained in 3 months, you'll miss the rain!

Eh, it's our typical weather this time of year. Summer storms are a part of life here. However, I certainly don't compare it to Washington state. It's sunny most of the day, it gets cloudy & dark in the afternoon, it's pours for 20 minutes, the sun comes back out. No big deal. Now you know why our foliage is so lush here But the summer storms are certainly nothing you plan your day around (besides grabbing your mail beforehand, lol)

The rain doesn't bother me because it doesn't last all day long like it did in NY. You can still do things a good portion of the day. You just have to be prepared when it pops up on you, or I should say drops down on you! It is the typical weather for summertime in Florida, however we have had more than our share this year.

I love the rainy afternoons!

It's an excuse to get off the beach while the storm passes and to have a drink at Daquari Deck!

My poor Mom hated the rainy season down there. She had to use a cane and had a very hard time walking. Invariably she'd go to the store and, while she was in there, a rainstorm would pop up. She sure couldn't run back to her car, or even walk fast. That was probably her only complaint about living in FL. She didn't "feel" humidity, so that didn't bother her (wish I had that gene).

Being from Minnesota, at least I don't have to shovel it.
