I bought really great smoked salmon at a booth from the Sunday West Seattle Farmer's Market. Unsure who sold it, but check out the farmer's markets. They caught and smoked it.

The event is free to attend. To participate in the smoked salmon tasting and popular vote you purchase your "tasting card" for $10 which gets you a 1oz-2oz sample from each of the competitors...(10+) When you have sampled all and selected your favorite you then submit your voting card and are entered into a drawing for fantastic door prizes.

The event itself is free. Smoked Salmon Tasting Cards are $6 and your completed card is entered into a raffle drawing for great prizes! Last year three different smokers from Smokehouse Products were awarded!

Ah, but you are not too far from Larry's Smokehouse in Mill Creek. Stop for a meal and take home some salmon.
