I've kind of liked this spoof regarding crime on the Eastside.

Is Bellevue really that bad? I want a tolerant, safe community that I don't have to be filthy rich to rent in.
Not to offend, but I laughed a little when I read "Bellevue" and "gangs" in the same sentence. Bellevue is a very nice area. I think your friend is most certainly talking about Everett. I have lived there and yes there is a lot of crime but probably a lot less compared to other "ghetto" places in America.

On a more serious note:

1 man killed, another wounded in bar shooting in Bellevue | The Today File | Seattle Times

Never imagined this happening in Munch Bar. Hopefully they have good surveillance images.

So this was a gang related shooting? I haven't heard of much gang shootings recently involving gangs based in Bellevue. Perhaps they were from Seattle or somewhere else?

ok, I just saw on one of the local tv news site that the suspect has been identified and is a gang member but from Seattle's central district. He's one of three teens convicted in the 2008 Tuba-man murder according to King5. His name is Ja’mari Alexander Allen Jones and is driving a white Nissa Maxima with WA tags AHZ 1672. Consider him armed and dangerous. Click here for photo.

crossroads is fine but gangs and drugs do exist there on a smaller scale. lots of heroin around. safe place for those who steer clear of the sketchy lifestyle. but if you are looking for it you can find all sorts of **** in crossroads.

I saw an odd thing yesterday at Crossroads. A woman parked, clicked the door lock on her remote and then went around and checked all four doors to make sure they were locked. Must have been worried about car prowls.

Bellevue is experiencing a bad increase in car prowls and home burglaries. My mom's neighborhood has resurrected its Neighborhood Watch because of dozens of break-ins in the past year. Only a matter of time until one of these drug-fueled idiots breaks into the wrong house, if you know what I mean.

Man, thanks so much for posting the Almost Live! video. I had never heard of the show before I watched that, now I'm going to be watching it all day. Those are awesome.
