Hello, I am working on a school project focused on improving the experience of a city's metro use, specifically the app or website available. I am looking for first hand data and input. I mostly will be looking for feedback in regard to your personal experience with the app and or website and any frustrations or wishes you have. Any info would be greatly appreciated, thank you!!

The problem is with your timing. I took the bus to work and back almost every day before Covid, but now on the few days when I have to go in I drive. When I pass any buss it's pretty much empty. The App that I used was OneBusAway, and it worked well with actual riders updating in real time. When we do go back to the office, proposed for 1/1/2022, I will drive in 3 days a week, and work from home 2, as will most people. The light rail extension to Mercer Island will eliminate some buses from Issaquah to downtown Seattle, so people will have to bus to Mercer Island, then transfer to the light rail. It's not worth the extra time, it took too long already compared to driving. I suspect that like the highway 99 tunnel and the 520 bridge toll, Covid and work from home is going to have a severe financial impact or even bankrupt Sound Transit, despite getting tax money until at least 7 years after 2041. They just won't be getting the expected rider fare revenue.
