In that case, would Tacoma even want the NHL/NBA in their area? I think it would be a great asset.

But Seattle is basically the flagship city of the PNW, has the better rep and drive to become world class city. The traffic would be even more horrendous than it is now and I don't think people want to deal with that. Perhaps when they finally do link the Light rail to Tacoma, it could work-- but we're talking about what? 25 years from now?

Inkpoe: Technically, Seattle is a world class city already.

"Gamma world city+" status, actually. Montreal, Canada and Seattle are both Gamma World+ cities! So Seattle and Vancouver is in the same tier as Montreal with that!

I feel like Seattle, Vancouver, and Montreal will become Beta world cities soon.

Portland, Oregon is a "Gamma world " city, so a tier below Gamma world +.

There are 127 "World cities" on the planet, based on what "Global city-Wikipedia" says.

I didn't say it wasn't, just that it has the drive.

By god, did people see the sun today, it was blazing orange. Even saw people taking pictures of the sun. Nice.

Where I was, it was cloudy the past two days.

Wow, it sucks to hear there have been so many wild fires in Washington state and British Columbia. I assume they are in the more arid areas of both regions.
