Seriously, what the heck? There are actually WOMEN from Washington in this forum. I wouldn't be surprised if the woman in question felt rather sheepish, but you know what ... men have been known to do weirder and more disturbing things to women! So while she may have jumped to conclusions, I wouldn't say she overreacted. (Note, she left without incident and then reported her concern.)

emptyheaded generalizations? I lived in Washington 29 years before moving, don't tell me there aren't lots of women like that there, like my sister for instance who thinks men only exist to pay their mortgage.

I'm not sure what your point is...I thought the two preceding comments about "typical women..." were emptyheaded generalizations.

I was agreeing with you. I was saying, "Seriously," in response to your comment. Seriously as in "totally," or "absolutely."

You give credence to such fecal-tainted generalizations as "women are more easily offended here" and "typical afraid-of-her-own-shadow woman." Sad.

They are the laments of the slackjaw who was laid off because he didn't understand how surfing BigJuggs.com at work was at all improper or offensive.

Whatever issues you have with your sister can be resolved through expensive therapy or less-expensive pharmaceuticals.

Yes, what a shame. Time was, and this was before all the Californians came, we could massage any lady who pleased us ... and I do mean pleased. I mean, she should've taken it as a compliment!

Come on man.

I pine for the days of elevator grinding. Sorry ma'am, that's just my wallet.

Quick question-

How come in downtown there seems to be a fleet of sirens for aid responses almost perpetually throughout the day? In every other big city I've been in including Manhattan I just don't see/hear that many.
