The sun sets late in the summer, and early the rest of the year in northern latitudes.

The hot chicks at the game were probably from Bellevue or Kirkland.

There are plenty of hot girls from Queen Anne, Ballard, Capitol Hill near Olive and Belmont, and North Seattle.

seattle isnt on the same level as SF.. period.. nothing to discuss further on that topic.
and all the shops were closed by 6, this is the chowder spot i was going to grab a bite to eat at
Pike Place Chowder - Downtown - Seattle, WA
closed at 5pm, the rest of the fruit vendors were all hosing down the sidewalk closing.
seattle center was also a ghost town with the sun still shining. the waterfront was completely deserted by 6-7pm.
even sf's tourist traps stay open well into the evening. u can get chowder at boudin bakery til about 9pm.

Did you see anything else besides PP Market? Did you check out Olympic Sculpture Park? What about the zoo there? It's small but worth seeing. How about one of the harbor cruises? It doesn't sound like you gave the city a real chance.
yep went to sculpture park, the office or museum they have there was closed. but i got to see the rest of the art outside. did not go to the zoo, i dont like zoos. i went to a lot of places given my short stay there. i went to bellevue as i mentioned earlier. seattle center, i rode the monorail to that shopping center down town, tried some of the different coffee shops around down town (no starbucks though).
i went to the univ of washington area and had some greek food. good city i liked it.

I noticed you thought Seattle was rainy, it seems like a lot of folks seem to think so too, there is rain but not as much as some seem to think. Seattle is nice in it's own way just like most places. I wouldn't live in the city though unless I needed to work there.

^yea its weird, seattle only gets a little bit more rain per year than sf.. but its cloudy a lot so people think it rains all day and night.

Seattle and San Francisco are two very different cities. Honestly. How can you say there is not much difference? You serious? I mean, there are hills in both, by other than that...

In some(or even many) ways, Seattle and San Francisco are very similar to each other, and in other ways not as much. I dont see them as "very different" cities. I do seem them as different cities in some ways. Theyre both great cities. I think I like them equally. I can see myself living happily in Seattle or San Francisco the rest of my life, but Im sure there are others who many not even like neither of the cities. This can be true about any place.

I dont understand why someone would see San Francisco as so much better than Seattle or someone seeing Seattle so much better than San Francisco, unless its related to their personal preferences. Its doesnt mean everyone will think one particular place is "so much better" than another place.

Personally, I like to see a place for all the great things that place offers. I usually dont like to compare places in a competitive way and devaluate certain positive things about a particular place when I compare it with another place, especially a smaller city compared to a larger city and make a certain place that has certain good things about it sound like it sucks compared to another place. Its still a good thing for someone to see the good things a place offers and the more negative things.

There are definitely some places where it would be very hard for me to say anything positive about based on my personal preferences for what I want in a place (Some examples: Las Vegas, Nevada, Phoenix, Arizona, The state of Arkansas, Gary, Indiana ) , but Seattle and San Francisco are definitely two places I see being great in a lot of ways and I think many people would agree about that, even if one person infinitely prefers one of those places over the other one.
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Im surprised some people think everything closes early in Seattle. I know places that close at 10pm-midnight or later.

Because I'm in San Diego. SD is a different city but I guess we all will have our opinions.
