Paper towels

Fresh veggies

Charcoal
That's the routine stuff. Occasionally I buy some fish or beef, but rarely. We don't impulse buy pre-packaged meals either. We usually go every two weeks.
Nobody's dog itches on their Kirkland dry dog food?

I get coffee and org fr blueberries.
The sales at local markets beat out most things I want.
I get a free card every year from a rich friend...I don't ask for it.
It depends on our needs at any particular weekend and whether it's the Costco in Maryland or the one in Virginia. Often times we get gas there since our area is anywhere from .10 - 30 cents more per gallon.
There have just been times we go inside, get eyeglasses re-adjusted, look around. Other times, it could be for vitamins that I like alot. Also, depends on how some of the food items are grouped for sale. I'm not getting something that has way too many attachments that I know could spoil on us before we (only 2 of us) can use it up/consume. Yes, some items we are able to refrigerate/freeze, however, sometimes it doesn't always taste quite the same by the time we get around to it. That would be a waste - food and/or $.
I have yet to see my sizable printed paper towels at Costco. I have to go to Walmart for that.
On occasion, I have bought shoes, shirts, coats/jackets, pants there - providing I can find the size. Sometimes they'll have only small and mediums, nothing else or I've already got that top in that color and am looking for a different color in my size - but they don't have it.
Sometimes packages of batteries - AA's and/or AAA's. Sometimes one can go through AA's alot faster than the AAA's.
About the only thing I ever get at Costco is a headache! I despise going to our local store(s). Too many people, and not enough parking. I stay at the house and let the wife go!
We don't go to Costco (I'm too cheap to pay for the membership), but we have a Cash & Carry here that's a smaller version, with no membership fees. It caters mostly to restaurants, but they always have REALLY good prices on produce, which is great for our salads and when we do juices/smoothies. I usually get on a bi-weekly basis:
Green bell peppers (6pk)
Yellow onions (12pk)
Bananas
Cucumbers (6pk)
Mangoes (usually 8 in a box)
Strawberries (4lbs)
Romaine leaves (6pk)
Carrots (4lbs)
Goat Cheese log - I don't even know how big it is, but it's big, lasts about a month
Feta cheese - 3lb bag. More like once a month
A few half gallon cartons of Half & Half because it's so cheap
Butter sticks if I'm going to be baking
Usually that whole thing costs between $30-40.
They also sell ALL the Torani and DaVinci syrups (there's an entire aisle just for them) and they are super cheap. DaVinci is $3, and Torani is like $3.98 or something. Compared to the $7 in grocery stores. Only thing I can't buy there is the meat, and only because it's not individual sizes. Prices are cheap, but I don't have room for a 20lb roast!
Costco has Charmin toilet paper??? I am going to have to yell at my wife. She came home from going there with her sister and bought the Kirkland toilet paper. I really only like Charmin Extra Strong. Jay
