I make my own cigs - costs about 75 cents per pack. I get my supplies from a local tribal smoke shop.

Pick yourself up a "Top-O-Matic" machine (~$40), two boxes of cigarette tubes (~$5) and a pound of tobacco (~$10). You'll have about two cartons worth of supplies, and the machine is a one-time purchase...

I must have been under a rock for the last two months or something, but I was unaware of the tax increase on loose tobacco coming in 10 days.

To the person who repped me with a note about it...

THANK YOU!

I'm heading to the smoke shop today to buy them out of my brand...

After I read your note, I scoured the web looking for info. I'd used that site when we first started looking seriously at RYO as a way to cut the cost of cigarettes, and I ended up there again when researching this tax. That's a very good site for RYO information.

We stopped by both of the smoke shops owned by the Paiute tribe yesterday and cleaned them out of our brand of tobacco/tubes. We ended up with twelve pounds of tobacco and eleven boxes of tubes. The tobacco should last us around nine months or so, and we saved over $300 by stocking up now...

Buy them online because it is cheaper than Indian reservations. You have to buy 6 cartons at a time and they send only 2 cartons at a time per day for it to be tax duty and it is legal to do so. Duty free is 2 cartons per person so they send 2 cartons at a time. Marlboro is like $20.95 per carton. Saves big bucks.

She said she was going to die if Obama won the election, but she must have changed her mind because she just ordered another case of cigarettes.

That could be the greatest post I have ever read on here.

Funny stuff.

I would recommend them.
The shipment has to go through Customs. When Customs discovers what it is, you'll lose whatever money you spent for the product, because it will be seized.
