re LVG and the Swans game, i don't see it as "excuses" this is a man who calls it like he sees it period.
we had a ton of momentum in preseason (yeah yeah PRE season) - greatly building confidence using new formation and a couple of new players - and we come to a game which actually matters against far lesser opponent and suck it. if you don't think that kind of killed the confidence we gained in preseason than you're cray
I tend to agree with Scholes' assessment of about five new players needed to become competitive. As a City supporter, I'd of course love to see you stay the course, with Cleverley's new contract and all!

i know you want to sign Cleverley and Fellaini...just admit it you goon.
A few good games today.. I hate how nowadays the games are spread over 3 days, though.. better for having more matches spread out, but a lot of the games are pretty dross..
Not really, Suarez couldn't fix those defensive frailties we exhibited.
Well, at least pool had less problems scoring, now they got 2 problems.
Again, too early to draw any conclusions but I'm thinking this season may turn into a run only between Chelsea and City, with the first winning IMO, plus Diego Costa as top scorer.
Jaysus, BR probably had a chat with the guys after that one, eh?
Well, they're playing Tottenham in their home next game... they will need a lot of chat and Balotelli too maybe?
