No, Clemson players take online marriage courses......maybe this is why they need the courses.

You like UNC but when Clemson markets itself like UNC that annoys you. Marketing is how you improve academic EP. Darla Moore knows lol

You still cite the Haley stalker. The one who beat former girl and gamecock nutjob ? Lol yeah Haley had hot affair with that bald loser

As much as I hate siding with Esso didn't UNC recently have a report out about something like 3000 kids being given fraudulent degrees?

Looks like Clemson is best uni in south now, UNC finally got exposed. Pushing black kids into easy major like that is soft bigotry of low expectations. Not surprising given white liberals run it
Best university in the south ? .. would come as a surprise to UVA, Duke, Vandy, Emory, Tulane, Rice, U Texas and quite a few others ...

My opinion Greenville and upstate had best collection of employers in state.

No way Charleston and Columbia growing faster. That does not pass the eye test.

Eye test isn't working... census population report for the last 10 years... Charleston grew by 30 %... Columbia by 14.7%.... Greenville by 8.1 %

Youre starting to sound like a high school kid ... my school is better than your school type thing...I like Greenville ...a lot.. but you can easily get the data ... if you start making it up.. you lose your cred.

When the Panthers played in Clemson for 1 year while BofA stadium was under construction, they did well to get 50k to a game with a lot of free tickets. Face it, the market is not there. Be happy with Single A baseball.........one thing you will never hear said from Greenville, "that's it from Greenville, Sports Center is next" or "you are looking live at sold out Bon Secours Stadium in downtown Greenville"........you do hear that from Columbia.

And, to be honest, the Panthers begged to play at Carolina for the first season, we had a crazy AD at the time who refused to let them play at Williams-Brice. But, it was clear that the Panthers wanted to play in Columbia by a long shot.

Wish they would come back and do a few pre season games now that Mikee is gone.. Would be the icing on the cake with all the hotels/retail growth downtown/Vista now compared to the 90s when they had their first opportunity to play here.... Mayor Benji.. I hope someone on your staff is reading this!!!!!! Get with USC and DO IT>>>>

Then.. get with the DOT and get them to allow tracks to be built in the middle of I-77 for highspeed rail...

I'm not sure if its worth engaging but just to quantify the differing levels of income and population:

Greenville Median Income for 2013: $44,853 (compared to $44,163 for the state as a whole.) Charlotte Median Income for 2013: $53,251. The average income for those 'low paying' banking/finance jobs in Charlotte is $68,311.

Greenville metro area population is 638,721; the city of Charlotte alone is 792,862 - the metro is 2,217,035

The cost of the Fluor building at Clemson was something like $5 or 6 million- Fluor gave about 3 million but that included employee contributions as well. Other alumni/donors kicked in an additional million. I used to walk by it every single day during construction & have a friend whose grandfather has a statue in it. Or did 15 years ago.

The cost of the Panthers Stadium was $250 million- almost 20 years ago. Cost would be atleast 1 1/2 that amount now and if you put it closer to the coast get ready for more costs in foundations and meeting code in terms of wind loads.

Clemson tickets start at $330 per year; Panther tickets start at $410.

South Carolina barely affords to fund its roads and universities and some would argue its not funding either adequately. I do not see how we can validate throwing a minimum of $200 million towards what would probably be a $400 million dollar construction project.

Here is what people are paying for naming rights which would basically provide no help: ESPN.com: SPORTSBUSINESS - Stadium naming rights Or for a better explanation: Stadium naming rights - AskMen

Basically there is no logical means to support a team in South Carolina. Especially when its fan base would be boxed in between Atlanta and Charlotte's fan bases and have to compete with Clemson, USC and to a lesser extent UGA for attendance.
