I don't suppose the people that furnish that video are reimbursing the filling stations and convienience stores for the business they are loosing from people no longer driving to look at it?
No, probably not.
I'm considerable West of the Black Hills up against the Big Horn Mountains in Wyoming. Our trees aren't turning that much yet. There are a few, but not like what I'm seeing in the video. And, we've had several nights of frost already.
They aren't turning all that much around here yet, either EH...I think that video just shows an isolated area here and there. I would imagine the next two weeks will be peak time, though. As long as we don't get a storm that blows all the leaves off or another Oct. 1 snowstorm!
We went through Spearfish canyon Tuesday there were lots colors changing. The aspen were really showing their colors. It is neat to see the aspen change among the pine.
I grew up in the Black Hills. I loved it. The fall colors were terrific. 18 miles West of Rapid. I used to hate the leaves falling because I had to rake. hahahaha But the colors were great.
