That sounds good. What does kale taste like? I would have most of the ingredients except for the mushrooms, which I do not care much for the texture of mushrooms along with olives and canned green beans. The italian sasusage and potatoes would be great.

Kale is considered a "green," though it's actually a form of cabbage. It is dark green in color, and kind of peppery in flavor. It's used in salads, alond with things like mesculun. It doesn't get really soggy in the broth, so it adds an interesting texture. The mushrooms are just something we throw in because we like them. The actual recipe doesn't call for them! Search "Zuppa Tosacana Olive Garden" and you are likely to come up with several recipes!
