Anyway, maybe we can both get back to where we love to live...someday... Have a great day.
A little "critical"?? Maybe, but it didn't bother me, as everyone has their own reasons for stuff. Fun and in-jest "banter" back and forth is great to get people thinking!!! Instead of the normal politicaly correct ""ooh I hope I don't hurt their feelings""
At least, like you said when you went back and re-read it, you can understand MY point of view. I do know So Cal is NOT the same as when I actually LIVED there. But I go there to visit VERY regularily, and am comfortable with the lifestyle there.
My biggest draw NOW is that the housing market is SO DAMN AFFORDABLE in these times, that it is actually "in reach" for me to get a house now!! The housing and job situation is what always kept me from moving, but good welders are in demand at the ship yards, and house are affordable. Those are the 2 pluses I need. Thanks for the positive thoughts, and " I am sending them back at you" Ken

Well then maybe now is the time for you to take the leap and move. I would check out the actual locations and get pics first though. My friend who lives in Redlands which is cheaper than San Diego cannot find anything decent for under $500.000. Yes, there are affordable homes but where are they? That would be a concern for me.

Anyway if you love San Diego you can make it work... I wish we could make the PNW work right now but the job market for my husband is terrible and we would have to pay all the relocation fees if we moved before August of 2010. Looks like we are stuck here for awhile.. At least my son is getting really good at baseball. The sports here ROCK!! Today the varsity baseball team actually played a game (it was 70 degrees!!). Something that just doesn't happen in Spokane.. Both of my boys have been playing baseball/football since the age of four. Not sure what is in store for them but they are getting good with all the awesome instruction and the warm weather in November. Hopefully they can get a scholarship or something. The academics are amazing here as well..

Anyway, have a great weekend...

PS. I go to kind of a biker church out here and tonight I noticed that all the guys were riding their harleys... Not to make you jealous or anything. I actually thought of you and can understand why you would want to live in a warmer climate. Peace...
