Looks like the St. Louis boycott of AB products has made an impact.

Anheuser-Busch InBev said Thursday its fourth-quarter profit fell 24 percent to $968 million, down from $1.3 billion a year earlier

It amazes sometimes that we can be disappointed to see a company make only $4 billion in a year. I know that there are stockholders to please and that if you're not growing you're not keeping up, but still!

I was saddened that AB was purchased. However, there are still jobs here in St. Louis. Does it make sense to boycott them? Doesn't that risk the jobs that are still here? Would we really rather it be all or nothing?

Any boycott isn't doing much, because their revenues are up 2% per that article.

I doubt anyone is still really boycotting them. For a while I couldn't drink Stella because I was too mad, but even I'm over that now.

I am a craft beer buff and I still have no desire to boycott AB. They're still an institution here regardless of who owns them. But it's not like I ever drank much of their beers anyway since I got into craft and IPA's a couple of years ago. I definitely enjoy the occasional Stella though

Would any of you know how Schlafly Brewing Company is doing, and if it's been able to take advantage of InBev's purchase of A-B?
