Moving from Belgium to NYC is a logical move. Just wish they would have moved to STL.

I'm just so over the whole InBev AB thing. The facade that they remain the city backbone is almost worse. Just go.

I've got my own personal boycott of AB-InBev going.

No kidding, their beer sucks as it is, I can't imagine why InBev would go 45 billion in the hole to acquire a company that wasted so much money over so many years.

If you want a decent local beer Schafly's is quite good and compares well with Sam Adams (but is not as bold) and if you can find it, Crown Valley isn't too bad either.

I've never been an AB person. Will drink Bud Light over Miller Lite if necessary. I love Schalfly Hefeweizen and Boulevard Wheat (out of KC).

I completely agree regarding Schlafly beers. At some point in the next couple of decades, Busch Stadium will likely need to change names. But to what?

At least NorCal has Lagunitas, but I'll definitely have to pay a visit to Schlafly Brewing Co. on my next visit to St. Louis!

Isn't the big reason for the move would be that executives from Belgium and Brazil can't get to St. Louis directly? If that's the case it could be a case of the airport's decline contributing to the problem. Now if St. Louis started getting some more international flights, maybe a sweetheart deal could convice ABInBev to move HQ here for some cheaper corporate office space.

A possiblilty is the China Air Cargo deal occurs, and it has been said that it could also beome a deal with passenger flights arriving with a hub in St. Louis. One of the Cargo ideas was to be a transfer between China and South America so if it expanded to passenger it could also be a transfer between China and Europe as well allowing the option of a company to move here.
