Alliance Bank Stadium is located on the north side of Syracuse. It is used by the Syracuse Chiefs AAA baseball team. The Stadium seats over 11,000. It was built in 1997, replacing the very old MacArthur Stadium. This year (2008) for the first time, Alliance Bank Stadium will have natural grass, not artificial turf.

The Syracuse Salty Dogs professional soccer club, played in the "A- League", during the summers of 2003 and 2004. In their former home of Alliance Bank Stadium, the Salty Dogs went to the playoffs in the 2004 season, and often played before the third largest crowd in the league averaging over 6,000 a game.

^Yes, I think they changed the name about 2014 and the bank is based in Norwich in Chenango County. More information: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/NBT_Bank_Stadium
