Seeing Miner's interview with the host only reaffirms my opinion that she is a nut and has substancially handicapped this area in terms of attracting the jobs and investment needed to give CNY any chance of survival. She admitted that her sloppy plan which was hastily assembled by CenterSate at the 11th hour has never been done before. She made no mention about creating jobs or attracting business. She keeps mentioning these infrastructure improvements will benefit "all people." Unfortunately, "all people" can't work for the government or hospitals like Miner would like. Her rigid appoach is reckless because it lacks any form of private investment that attracts private sector jobs. As much as I dislike Joanie Mahoney she is right when she says Miner's boondoggle (which will never be approved by Cuomo) does nothing to advance Syracuse or make it competitive. In many ways, Miner is a Bill de Blasio.

Job creation does seem to be the missing ingredient in the plan. There is a video with Mahoney where she talks about that.
What is probably more disappointing is that the regional Chamber of Commerce doesn't seem to have as much to offer in terms of a plan to attract jobs or expand current employers or at least at a faster rate.
