East TN is what we chose after 3 years of very careful looking.

Hundreds of waterfalls in Tennessee. ........ I am also a waterfall junkie. There are multiple books out there that tell you where they are and rate them. IMO Bald River falls near Tellico are the most impressive. Ozone falls in Cumberland county are another impressive fall. I have hiked in to many of them....too many to list. Tennessee's wilderness, mountains and waterfalls are such a blessing to our state.

Ruby Falls in Chattanooga which is 1200 ft underground in a mountain. Really neat to visit.

Ruby falls is beautiful as is the cave it is in. It is a unique place, but its also a bit expensive to go see. It was worth paying for once however. If you like caves then the Lost Sea cave near Sweetwater is also worth the time and money.

Ah, Crossville... Cumberland Mountain is one of my favorite spots in the whole world. And I've been around a great portion of it.
