I believe that Longview shares some channels with Tyler. I don't know about Shreveport channels - I am not a big TV watcher anyway and I don't recall seeing Shreveport coverage when I lived in the Longview area.

You know, I did not know the answer to this one, I had been on slightly curious about this over the years. It was easy to look this question up, since you asked, and found that Longview/Kilgore Cable carries all four Tyler stations, including Fox local, as the fourth channel. Now, what Direct T.V. and Dish provide, I did not want to take the time to look them up, lol.

Ok cool. Thanks for the link and info Mark! You as well Kathryn. At one time I considered moving to Tyler based on their excellent healthcare alone but decided on Killeen to be closer to mom since she's older now. Glad I left Texarkana. As much promise that city has it's not living up to its potential.

Well, if I didn't live in Tyler I'd want to live in Central Texas. Lots of good cities and towns in that area!
