But I get it. You're tired of Fort Worth being considered a suburb, and I'm not trying to say it is, but I'm also not going to consider it a big city if El Paso isn't one as well.
I didn't say it wasn't . . . You said both cities are "similar in size" and they're kinda not.

Also, Fort Worth has been 30 miles away from Dallas since the mid 1800s and we've LOST population and had multiple economic slowdowns that hit our city harder. So no, I don't think being next to Dallas is the reason why Fort Worth has gained so many people over the last couple decades.

I guess it's relative then. To me, Fort Worth only having about 200K more people makes it similar enough. It's not like I said they were the same size.

In the past FW did not have the connectivity to Dallas that it has today. The two cities have grown closer and more codependent it seems.

Yeah, the 80s and early 90s were horrible for Fort Worth... the Metroplex was already well established by then.

I don't think you're understanding my point at all. It is historically insulting to lump us in with Dallas.

San Antonio is clearly the worst option of these four cities for young, college-educated professionals.

Being in Irving since 1965 I love both Big D and Cowtown very much. I appreciate both as they are outstanding in their own, different ways. If I lived in Fort Worth I would love it.

Boi I love you to death but..... you need to know you are full of it on this one. I almost think you are just kidding around being factitious? Surely you aren't being serious bro.

I think all we other towns in DFW not named Fort Worth or Dallas (and maybe Arlington) are clearly just suburbs of the two big boys. I can't even get my head around someone who considered Fort Worth on a lesser level than Dallas. We in Irving have Las Colinas and quite a few Fortune 500 headquarters and we know we are just suburb.
