"Someone's in there! There's a woman in there! OMG!"
Leave it to our local drive-time radio station to give us the rest of the story, which includes Zimmerman's wife sounding curiously not breathless as she expresses her surprise at who was in Z's car.
She (an admitted perjurer) retracted the complaint, the cops found no gun, and the dad admitted that he hadn't been punched.
...yet another "chop-shop" editing job by the big three networks. What a surprise.
Not defending Zimmerman, but most of that article is incorrect. No gun was found (although he has every legal right to possess one), Zimmerman was not arrested or 'detained' (unless you want to say questioned for ten minutes then he went back in the house and cops left), nor was he charged, and his wife has changed the story to say something like he looked like he was reaching for a gun.
Divorces get ugly, unfortunetly for him every little event will be published in as negative a light as possible in order to gain media coverage, and with all the innaccuracies you can expect from the press. And let's add - the press has been notoriously inaccurate and biased in describing anything to do with this case.
Who owns that house? Pool, Tennis court? Is this a 'safe house' or what? It's awfully nice, considering.
And they both appear to be driving new vehicles? Interesting, indeed.

I was one of the people who felt George was innocent, but he is absolutely as stupid as OJ. Both got freedom and then couldn't keep themselves out of trouble or the limelight.

No more inaccurate then any other high profile case.

At least in Miley's case, she hasn't taken a life, but both subjects seem to crave a lot of attention.
By the way, I watched part of the ABC interview with Shellie Zimmerman. She said she was not home the night of the shooting and was staying with her Dad because she had been fighting with George. But didn't he say he left the scene of the crime and went home to his wife who bandaged his wounds? Also, this was never mentioned during the trial (for obvious reasons) but that sure makes me question the state of mind he was in at the time.

Yes, all the people who sent him donations for his defense must be very happy!

No gun was found because his truck wasn't searched by the police. According to Zimmerman's attorney he did have a gun with him. George always has a gun.
Luckily the police have the destroyed iPad. Hopefully they can access the video she was taking and it will show George's actions and they can charge him with something.
What I don't understand is why the police in Florida tip-toe around George. Any other person, if their spouse called 911 and said that they were being threatened, that person would at least be detained and questioned. And the police would have at least asked to search the culprit's vehicle. It's like the police are afraid of him. Unbelievable.
